The Laced Half-Zip Set

Everything else on these shelves is found. This is the one thing we drew.

The brief was one line long: make the clothes the girl in the arcade stairwell is wearing. Ribbon instead of a zip pull, so it moves when she does. Safety pins that actually hold the skirt rather than decorate it. A flaming-heart emblem small enough that you have to be close to read it.

It behaves like outerwear and photographs like a drop. The half-zip sits high and cropped, the ribbon can be pulled out and swapped for another colour, and the skirt pins tighter or looser without a size change. Wear the two together, as it was drawn, or put the half-zip over everything you already own.

Our own name is woven into the neck tape rather than printed across the chest.
